Talk is the reason Obama is where he is. He talks well. That's it. That's what he has to hang his hat on. That's why people like him.

He'd make a great preacher or motivational speaker. At least he has a future.
So you've bought into the Republican notion that Obama's 16 years of service are meaningless?

Motivation is a good thing, especially when you believe in what you're preaching.

That's the thing. People don't want the nasty politics but it works. So the handlers have figured out to have the candidates say things like "families are hands-off" and "i respect my opponent", while having everyone else in the party go out and say all the nasty stuff.

The whole US election system is a pretty good argument against democracy.

Do they always give this much camera time to the protesters?
Which channel are you watching?
I'd be willing to bet he's watching NBC..

They've shown protestors 4-5 times now
Figures. I don't believe I've seen any on the channel I'm watching.
Lemme guess....Fox?
How'd you know? There's no bias in the media, is there?
lol..

CNN, NBC, CBS - liberal
FOX - conservative

At least from the coverage that I've watched..
Really? I've never heard that. Hmmm. I may have to pay closer attention.

And McCain's reason for where he is is...?

He's a POW. Maybe you haven't heard.

Well let's put it this way folks, and I know this is (thankfully) not how it works..

If you had McCain, the POW, and Obama, the community organizer, and that's all you knew about them...which would you vote for?

Point being, I'd rather McCain have POW on his resume then what Obama has on his

Well, I'd hope he and you know...every single politician ever talk well.

What is this supposed to even mean?

No, how about my independent realization that he is a good talker, without the experience to lead a nation. I don't need the RNC to tell me that.
