Do they always give this much camera time to the protesters?

I think they are drowning out protesters.

Talk is the reason Obama is where he is. He talks well. That's it. That's what he has to hang his hat on. That's why people like him.Socnorb11 wrote:Talk is cheap, Mr. McAncient.
He'd make a great preacher or motivational speaker. At least he has a future.

For some reason they show up in lingerie, but also heavily clothed.JG1982 wrote:I'd be willing to bet he's watching NBC..BW23 wrote:Which channel are you watching?Cronos69 wrote:I don't typically watch these sorts of things. Exactly. Cutting taxes without reducing spending is not being fiscally conservative. It's actually the opposite.I'd say both parties raise spending though I do think Republicans generally cut taxes more. That's more irresponsible in a way since the cuts aren't "paid for." So I'd like someone to cut both, but that hasn't happened since we had Clinton in the White House and a Republican Congress.

That's exactly what I was thinking. You knew it was going to happen though. The total smear campaign simply would not work against Obama.Socnorb11 wrote:Isn't it a little disingenuous for McCain to talk about his respect for Obama tonight, after his colleagues mocked him mercilessly last night?

I've been preaching that since the day he won the nomination
