Disaffected Hillary Voters do not represent a very big bloc.
I said it earlier, but who knows if anyone saw it... what a huge thread.

Palin is more about pulling in moderate women, fence-sitters, if you will. The Hillary left isn't coming over to McCain in droves. Your average mom in Ohio, on the other hand...

Whoever gets that vote will win this election. That's what Palin is here to do. As well as energize the base (which she's clearly going to do) and add some excitement and media buzz to McCain's camp.

Rachel Maddow just said in an interview with Palin today, she admitted she didn't know what John McCain's Iraq policy was.

Un..be..lievable.

It is my opinion that the democrats have already put their foot in their mouth by indicating that Gov. Pailn does not have the experience to be one position away from the highest office in the nation. I find great irony in this statement with the democratic nomination of an inexperienced Obama. The more they pound this drum, the more they will diminish Obama. Palin has a record of achievement that Obama does not possess. I believe it is the Obama crew that just does not get it! Hooray for a working class mom who has proven herself on the issues that are really important to the vast majority of Americans. I predict that Palin will smoke Biden in their debate.

Working class mom?

She's the governor of Alaska, right?

I thinkt he "average moms" will be just as swayed by Michelle Obama as they are by Palin.

just like GWB was so experienced with his 5 whole years in political office...he tried to be a representative, but the people didn't like him enough for that (in the 70's) so they decided to make him president...

and by issues that are important to Americans you mean issues that are important to 50% of Americans (b/c surely you speak of moralistic issues, not political issues)...

to me, and many like me, State's Rights, Individual Rights, Education (which America is lacking in severely, even though just about every candidate has vowed to change that in the past 25+ years), Civil Rights (not having 1 in 10 black males behind bars instead of with their families, having more than 20% of black people graduating high school---but wait, who then would serve me my food, fight our wars, and take out my garbage)....all these issues are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more important to a VERY large percentage of USoAmericans than whether or not a man can marry a man or whether or not the top 10% of America should have to pay higher taxes considering they wouldn't make money if they didn't have people to work $7-15/hr jobs, or Chinese and Mexican people to take advantage of (sure, they love people, that's why they have children making our products)

You're serious?

Joe Biden has foreign policy experience. He's been around since Sarah Palin was 7. Sarah Palin has no freaking experience whatsoever. Let me repost what I posted earlier:

Obama: 8 years in Illinois state legislature, 3 1/2 years United States Senator, President Harvard Law Review, Consitutional Law Scholar, Professor Chicago Law, Author, Prescient grasp of foreign policy.

Sarah Palin: 2 years as Alaskan governor, Mayor of a town that has a population of less than 10k, Mother.

Obama, as raw as he may be, has light years more experience than Sarah Palin. It's silly to try and equate the two.

And our measure of that is what? Most one-liners that draw the largest cheers from the crowd?

Just a friendly reminder - George Bush the First won the election with Dan Quayle as his VP - and at the time I myself didn’t think he (Quayle) had any experience, and no one (outside his home state) had ever heard of him. I don’t think this argument can be used against Gov. Palin.
