Do you watch your favorite college players in the pros?

Maybe it's just me, but a lot of times I just don't care about watching these guys anymore once they leave school. It's especially true with the NBA, and I'd say mostly true with the NFL too. Granted, Mizzou hasn't exactly churned them out with consistency in either sport, but I rarely watch the guys that do make the jump.

When Chase Coffman goes pro, his team will probably be my second favorite team (assuming he doesn't get drafted by the Rams).

Only hockey.
I watch College Football, Basketball, and Hockey. But only Pro Baseball and Hockey.
I can't stand the NFL and NBA.

I watch Deron Williams when I can. He's the only one I even keep up with.

Yep..definitely if they are in the NBA (Deron Williams, Tim Duncan, Luther Head.....and members of the Flyin' Illini from back in the day!). I think with the NFL (for me anyway), it's a bit harder to follow the players. NBA, I can get great seats when any of the aforementioned players teams play the Hawks...almost an up close and personal seat. Baseball, I don't follow college baseball much, more minor leagues....so there are some players that I keep an eye on.

It was pretty easy to follow Ki-Jana Carter's career. I only had to tune in once every 3 years or so.

75 to 80 percent of my interest in the NFL is based on which ex-Purdue Boilermakers are playing.

99.9 percent of my interest in the NBA is based on it (Brad Miller in Sacramento is the only reason I'd EVER pause to read an NBA box score)

I don't believe Brian Cardinal is in the league any more, and Glenn Robinson flamed out years ago, so I have no reason to follow anything else about the NBA.

I WOULD, but Brady Quinn doesn't play...as soon as he does, Cleveland (or whoever it ends up being) is my de facto 2nd favorite NFL team.

For the most part I don't root for college players anymore, although I enjoy it if they pop up in a game I happen to be watching.

Surely you all keep up with Pierce, Lafrentz, Pollard, Simien, Vaughn, Hinrich, and Gooden. Ostertag finally retired. Billy T went to Belgrade to play this year.
