I am trying a different strategy because I had no choice but to do an autopick draft:

QB: J. Kitna (DET)
RB: R. Johnson (CIN)
RB: T. Jones (NYJ)
WR: S. Smith (CAR)
WR: M. Harrison (IND)
WR: C. Johnson (CIN)
TE: T. Gonzalez (KC)
K: J. Hanson (DET)

Holy crap! That's the top 3 WRs! And a solid guy in Rudi!

Were you in like a 6 team draft or something?!?!

No, it was a 10 team league, but it was Yahoo! autopick. If you know how to take advantage of the rules and pre-rankings, you can make a really good team.

-In yahoo autopick leagues, the autopick draft will fill out your starting lineup before it takes any backups unless you make exclusions. This means that if someone's first two picks are RBs, they won't get to take another one until Round 10 because they need to draft a QB, 3 WR, a TE, a K, and a DEF.

I excluded all K, all DEF, and most TE. I set my top 10 WR or so at the top of my prerankings, then my top 10 or 15 QB, then my top 20 or so RB. As a result, while everyone else was taking kickers and defenses way too early, I was loading up on backup WRs and RBs.

This is who is on my bench:

QB M. Hasselbeck (SEA)
RB B. Jacobs (NYG)
RB F. Taylor (JAX)
RB C. Taylor (MIN)
WR T. Glenn (DAL)
WR J. Cotchery (NYJ)

Bulger, Marc QB STL
Alexander, Shaun RB SEA
Jones-Drew, Maurice RB JAC
Houshmandzadeh, T.J. WR CIN
Jackson, Darrell WR SF
McMichael, Randy TE STL
Kaeding, Nate K SD
Jets, DST DST NYJ

I usually have much stronger receivers, but tried something different this year - I guess we'll see if it works out.

Or my other team that's drafted, 10 teams again.

QB Carson Palmer (Cin - QB)
WR Larry Fitzgerald (Ari - WR)
WR Hines Ward (Pit - WR)
WR Laveranues Coles (NYJ - WR)
RB Shaun Alexander (Sea - RB)
RB Clinton Portis (Was - RB)
TE Kellen Winslow (Cle - TE)
BN Jamal Lewis (Cle - RB)
BN Kevin Curtis (Phi - WR)

Miami is my defense.

This is a 10 team league, and I honestly don't know if my team is good or not.
