I'm looking in to changing that. Thanks for the feedback!Popeye_Card wrote:Only one thing I noticed--any link I click opens in the same window rather than a new window. Is that a board setting, or can I change that? At quick glance, I didn't see that option.

Re: Welcome to PHPBB3!
heres something...and i dont know if it'll make sense...im at work and dont have time to take pictures of the screen and whatnot ...but i'll try to explain...
say you are in a forum, social for example...and you want to go back to the forum index...well, towards the "top" of the page, there are 3 icons/links you can choose...
board index < gatewayredbirds < social
if you click board index you go to the index and it has all the statistics and whos online (in the past 15 mins)...if you click gatewayrebirds...it takes you to the forum index, but with nothing at the bottom...i guess it just seems like a pointless link
this is the board index link: http://gatewayredbirds.com/forum/index.php
and this is the gatewayredbirds link: http://gatewayredbirds.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=15
not a huge deal...but its been throwing me...'cause when i go the index, i do like seeing the statistics and users numbers and stuff ( dont kno wwhy)...and so the other one is just kinda a "broken link" to me...

Re: Welcome to PHPBB3!
It seems a little odd but it makes sense since phpbb3 added the concept of subforums (something we don't use). I don't think I can change it but I'll take a look at it tonight. Dill and I discussed it here.
Thanks for your feedback!

I noticed something about the white circle next to thread titles: Some of them have scrolling lines and some don't...what does this signify?

Are you using prosilver or subsilver2? Can you post the image here?

Re: Welcome to PHPBB3!
I am using whichever one was the beta thing. I can't post an animated image, can I? It basically looks like text scrolling in a white circle next to the thread titles. Some of them scroll and some don't...
It isn't a big deal, I was just curious.

I believe that's the active topic thingy analogous to the shaking page in the old style.docellis wrote:I am using whichever one was the beta thing. I can't post an animated image, can I? Re: Welcome to PHPBB3!
That's the popular topic threshold - it means there have been at least 15 posts in a thread. Now that you mention it I'm going to boost that to 25.docellis wrote:I am using whichever one was the beta thing. I can't post an animated image, can I?
