How come the announcers can't say it like it is. I just heard Dan ask, "What's the matter with this offense right now?" What the hell do you mean Dan? Look at what's being run out there. Preston Wilson? So Taguchi? I wish there was a channel you could turn on where the announcers were given free reign to say whatever they felt like. How interesting would that be.

I think we could've started the post-game thread in the 7th.

ARGH!!!!!!!! Why does the OTHER team always make the spectacular defensive play or thow-out at the plate?

Has Wilson EVER been a solid hitter? He seems completely useless every time he comes to bat.

Edit: Well, at least he got a hit that time.

Key word is bench, they aren't supposed to start. How many games have So, Miles and Wilson started this year already?

Yet another game not worthy of a post-game thread

Exactly. We'd have a decent bench if it was comprised of Wilson, Taguchi, Spiezio, Miles, and Schumacher. Nothing sexy, but adequate. Now, about 3 of those guys are starting every game. Simply put, they're not good enough to start, or take 4 MLB at bats every game. The more at bats they get, the worse the team will perform.

A fully returned Rolen and Juan will improve the offense, one would theorize, simply by removing a lot of at bats by Preston Taguchimacher (to borrow a phrase).

A single each from Molina, Spiezio and Wilson. And, other than the hitting from our pitcher, that's it.

Not gonna win too many games as long as this keeps up.

2 hits for Kip Wells today.

3 hits for everyone else.

Sunday can't come soon enough.

Five -- count em, FIVE -- potential sub-700 OPS hitters.
Well, I don't know about you, but this game turned out about the way I would have expected.
