Tony's note card probably says that Bonsd has a career .985 OPS against lefties. He's terrifying.
I mean I know it might not have made much of a difference, I was just more shocked then anything.
LaRussa likes giving his relievers "roles" to fill...with two of the most prominent being the 8th inning guy and closer. Franklin is his 8th inning guy until he pitches himself out of that role...and, maybe even still then.

Anyone know who the SFG announcers are?
One of 'em in Krukow.
Edit:
Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper.

Yes, that's it. Thanks. I believe Krukow does play-by-play for one of the EA games. Aahhh, there it is, "grab some pine, Meat!" MLB 2005 I think.

I don't like the smell of this game. I smell walk-off.

There it is. My roommate used to play that game every day, and it's been driving me crazy all night trying to place the voice.
That was a gift to TJ.

Gift calls or not, Johnson did a really, really good job these two innings.

Wow, either the Cardinals were messing with Bonds or Johnson missed his target by a couple of feet there.
Even though it would've been an unforgiveable insult to Ryan Franklin, too bad TJ didn't pitch the 8th.

Man, Schumaker has no business on this team.
