You should know better than to ask that type of question in threads where I've posted.

Isn't it obvious? It's about function, not looks.

Do any of these people think, "Hmmm, how will this look when I'm 40 years old?"

I wonder if they really care.

"Buck the system!" is really cool until you're almost 30 and realize the system is what pays bills. And now you have tats on your face and metal sticking out everywhere.

I hope the people that do this are committed, because I don't think that's growing back.

Is this new?

And doesn't that apply to tattoo-bearers as well?
Speak up Elphie, CaptMorgan, and the other tattoo-sporting freaks! :P[/quote
i have no problem with a tattoo just as long as it is tasteful and you don't have 20 trillions of them.
my sister has 36 of them, and i think half of them look like crap.
i only have 3....2 where you can't see them because i wear a sleeve t-shirt
and one you can see.
as far as getting a hole in my brain or my nose or anywhere else is totally disgusting.
my son is wanting to get matching tattoo's.
i am still debating to do it or not.

another whole different subject.

does people look down on a person because they have a tattoo or look at them in a different light? compare to someone who doesn't have one.

well......i still can't believe i got one or.......3 :D

When I was a kid, people that wore tattoos usually had roots in "the wrong part of town" or "lived a rough life" or "were in the Navy".

These days, that is obviously no longer the case, if in theory, it ever was.

I don't look down at folks with tats. Heck, I want one!
