So I guess hitting .400 (and being the only consistently hot bat in the lineup) is not enough to get Duncan to start against a lefty yet.

Why do we need Duncan? We have Miles and Bennett in the lineup! (7/10 last week against Gorzelanny)

I think I'd rather see Pujols out of the lineup than Duncan, at this point. Probably won't make too much of a difference, though.

I wonder if there was time to laminate the new note cards.

Sure, because it's not like Pujols could break out and have a 2HR 5rbi game all of the sudden or anything... oops, oh wait...

Of course. I was simply displaying my distaste over having Duncan out of the lineup more than anything else.

The Duncan thing is infuriating. It does seem all team's fans have that beef with their managers though. Cubs fans would like to see Murton get more consistent playing time. TLR obviously likes to give spot starts, but it's quite obvious that not all starters are created equally and Duncan, Kennedy, and Edmonds will continue to be platooned more often.

it's simple.. right? won't duncan get better against lefties if he has to face
them once or twice a week? i don't know.. maybe it's not that simple..
