D-Backs

Post by cabby7588 »

Went to the Dbacks-Rockies game last night. The Dbacks lost but wow, they are young, especially their lineup

They put this team on the field:
C-Chris Snyer- 26 years old
1B-Conor Jackson-24 years old
2B-Orlando Hudson-29 years old
3B-Chad Tracy-26 years old
SS-Stephen Drew-24 years old
LF-Scott Hairston-26 years old
CF-Chris Young-23 years old
RF-Eric Bynes-31 years old (oldest guy in the lineup by two years! Moved to RF now that Chris Young is there)
P-Brandon Webb-27 years old

Youngest team in the majors...(I bet by a pretty good gap, too.)

They also have a ton of young pitchers and Brian Upton, who is now an OFer, is their #1 prospect. This team will be together for a long time because they are so young, and their team isn't spending any money right now. What they could use is some fans.

Oh yea, you're right, he's on the DL right now. He plays RF, and I think when he come back they will move Bynes back to CF and maybe not use this Chris Young kid as much. They have tons of OF talent.

But so does Young. Byrnes will be a bench guy or take time away from Hairston.

And it's Justin Upton, not Brian.

FTR, TB has the youngest roster. AZ surrounds its younger players with more etsbalished ones than TB.

It's shocking that the White Sox gave up Chris Young for Vasquez.

He is a very highly-touted prospect.

Let's trade for Eric Byrnes.

Will Quentin take over Hairston's spot when he's activated from the DL Mon. or Tues.?

I would think so planet, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
