Pirates:
1. Duffy, CF
2. Wilson, SS
3. Sanchez, 2B
4. Bay, LF
5. Nady, RF
6. Eldred, 1B
7. Bautista, 3B
8. Cota, C
9. Maholm, P
Paul Maholm is in his third year up from AAA, throws left/bats left and gave up four earned in five innings in his first start this year. Spiezio gets the start again, Rolen still dealing with back spasms. Miles is also starting, probably as a reward for his performance last night (4 for 5). It's rainy in Pittsburgh, so this one could get delayed or even rained out. Last night, the only relievers who didn't get in the game for the Cards were Tyler Johnson and Ryan Franklin, so look for them to be the first guys out of the pen today. Brad Thompson is probably unavailable after throwing two high pressure innings last night, and Izzy has yet to throw back-to-back outings this season.

MLB cracked down on that last year. I wasn't able to use any of the stations after April 2006.StL Dan wrote:Has anyone been successful picking up audio of Cards games through thegamelive.com?
If so, which specific station?
Thx
I guess I could try again today. Boss is out, so it makes it easier to search. If I have any success, I'll post it in this thread.

Well, 12 innings does take it out of a guy, and he was 0 for 3 yesterday against a lefty with 2 walks. Giving him a rest for the getaway game isn't such a bad idea, in my opinion.valley_card22 wrote:No Duncan? This is shame. Why not run him out there against LH? Hes always gonna be a platoon guy until you run him out there for 250 ABS vs. LHP.
At some point you need to let him sink or swim.

Taguchi is 4 for 7 against Maholm that might have something to do with it.valley_card22 wrote:No Duncan? This is shame. Why not run him out there against LH? Hes always gonna be a platoon guy until you run him out there for 250 ABS vs. LHP.
