He certainly looks better without the nerves he had in that first game. Still needs to be more economical, but very impressive today.

The hyperbole from last night aside, call me crazy, but I believe the Cardinals can make the playoffs this year. Assuming that Carpenter is done for the year. They're like the New England Patriots of MLB. Just when you think they can't succeed in a certain situation, they do..

No, Rick Horton, the Marlins do not "come up with players out of nowhere." They draft them after losing seasons and acquire them via trade by giving up major league talent for other teams' stud prospects. It's pretty simple really.
