Our seats were WAY high up, but we actually had a pretty nice view. It really is true when people say that there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
When we first got there, they were letting people get down closer and take pictures. My friend and I got all the way down to the very front row in the 3B side. I could reach down and touch the field with my arm!!
I took a few pics of Rolen, Spiezio, Duncan, and Jimmy
I screamed so much in the pre-game ceremonies that my vocal chords were pretty much shot before the bottom of the 1st... I kid you not.
Some guy sitting behind us yelled "SWING, DUMBASS!!" during Beltran's intro.
Our section came ALIVE when Yadi came up with the bases loaded. It was awesome. I'm glad I got to experience it even with the dissappointing outcome. Everyone in our section was going "YA-DI! YA-DI! YA-DI!"
I admit... my friend and I decided to leave when it became a 5-1 game instead of a 6-1 game (we took the Metrolink downtown and wanted to beat the crowd). But on our way down, we ended near a really close section, so we went to check it out and maybe take a few pics. But the lady who was "guarding" the area said that we could go ahead and have a seat if we wanted! So I got GREAT pics of Yadi, Taguchi, and Bennett! So neat being so close to the players like that. First time it's ever happened to me.
Even though we ended up losing, I'm still glad we went. I got to experience my first Opening Day ever!!!
PS. I took this picture when everyone was still doing warm-ups, and I have no idea who these two guys are. Anyone have any guesses for me??
