Jon Miller and Joe Morgan

Post by Third Strike »

I was so pissed off by the end of the game at Jon Miller and Joe Morgan's 3 hour slurp fest of the Mets that I joined this site to vent! The last inning and a half all they could talk about was the Mets' innfield and lineup. Good God I haven't seen an east coast bias like that in a while. Why even play the rest of the 161 games? Apparently the Mets clinched the NL tonight.

The Mets are a good team. They played very well tonight. They got the respect they deserved. Its not like the announcers were bashing the Cardinals or anything tonight.

They beat us in ever aspect of the game tonight... They deserved to have much of the attention looking forward to the '07 season during the end of the game. They didn't once speak badly of the Cardinals, the Mets are a very good NL team, meaning one of, if not, the best team in the NL.

I don't care for them but I didn't find tonight to be biased towards the Mets in a disgusting way.

I would have turned it on John and Mike, but my XM is about 10 seconds behind. Cards didn't do much to get talked about, but being defending World Champs, I thought they should have gotten more love on Opening Day. At least show raising the pennant.

"If the infield plays like this, with that lineup, the pitching won't be a problem" - Joe Morgan

Are you going against Joe Morgan's word. I always thought that if he said it, it must be true. :D
