Community Forecasts

Post by tangotiger »

I am now running Community Forecasts, and participation among hardcore fans is appreciated.

I've already taken an initial look at Redsox Fans' feelings on Pedroia, Papelbon, and their relievers:

As soon as I get 20 ballots for the Cardinals, I'll do likewise.

Very cool, Tango!

A question.... for players that aren't likely to have a role in 2007 (Cate, Cavazos, Kinney who's out with a TJ surgery), should those be left blank? Or do you still want that information?

I filled in what I thought they'd do against ML competition, but put their role as "minor league callup." Hopefully that's correct.

That is awesome Tango! Very cool idea.

Entering my predicted OPS for Molina and Eckstein was a somber event.

Yes, either leave blank, or mark them as "minor league callup".

This is a strange way of projecting for me. When I project stats for batters I usually use AVG, OBP, HR. Never really translated everything into OPS.
