I just found a disc that was buried in one of my desk drawers that someone gave me back in 2001 or so. It had a bunch of classic rock mp3's on it. I had completely forgotten about it. Some good tunes that I didn't have.

Here a playlist I compiled and have been enjoying today:

Magic Carpet Ride - Steppenwolf
Free Ride - Edgar Winter Band
Juke Box Hero - Foreigner
The Stroke - Billy Squier
Jenny-867-5309 - Tommy Tutone
I Think I'm In Love - Eddie Money
Round and Round - Ratt
It's Been Awhile - Staind
Working for the Weekend - Lover Boy
Panama - Van Halen
I Love Rock & Roll - Joan Jett

Hey Elphie -

Did you see Augustana on the Today show this morning? I caught their performance of "Boston".

Don't know if they did more than one song.

the new silverchair album: "Young Modern"

and it's amazing. If you haven't learned by now, don't go into silverchair albums expecting music from their first two albums to pop up. This is definitely a follow up to the Neon Ballroom/Diorama period mixed with Johns work in The Dissociatives.

I'm on my third listen and I can'ts stop (although a non-stream recorded official copy would be nice...owning the album would be even nicer, but that would require an actual release in the US

).
