“Professional Baseball has a long history in the Ozarks dating back to 1905,” team General Manager Dan Reiter said. “We’ll always cherish the Springfield Cardinals era and we are excited to open this new chapter.”

“We will remain a St. Louis affiliate for years to come and will continue to play right here in Springfield," Reiter continued. "This rebrand is about becoming uniquely us and representing Southwest Missouri with pride and joy.”

The team will unveil the new name, branding and marks at a free brand launch party at Route 66 Stadium on Tuesday, October 6. Timing and more information will be made public in the coming weeks.
