Graceffo has to be one of the worst relievers in the league.

4th appearance in 6 games, though.

It’s not about this outing. He has no swing and miss and no command. His ERA is a miracle.

This year's team is better than last. Even if they fall off at end of season again.

That said, these situations are the differences in good teams. Strike three in these spots from the top of your lineup. Bullpen unable to execute in middle innings.

Good teams find ways and bad teams rely on variance (HR's or mistakes from opponents).

Next step is lengthening and deepening lineup and bullpen and getting far better at executing winning plays.

Herrera’s still an on base machine and he’s only had one bad month this year. The homers have been lacking lately but aside from that and not throwing base runners out, he’s a very good player.
