Willson got ejected from the game after throwing his helmet at the Nationals starting pitcher Cade Cavalli. I didn’t see the game, but the Red Sox fans on one of the message boards I follow claimed that after Cavalli was caught on a hot mic saying to Willson after striking him out, “Sit down, boy,” Willson threw his helmet and both benches emptied. Someone edited Cavalli’s Wikipedia page calling him a racist.

The aftermath: Contreras and Cavalli both suspended 7 games, both are appealing.
