hofer looks broken...and ellis got claimed so we have no one else to try and replace him with for the time being

they were wanting to switch every other game to keep binnington fresh with the Olympics, but I don't see how that can do that at the moment.

binnington needs to play every game for awhile till we get a back to back games.

They need a different backup goalie. Too bad Ellis got claimed.

Yeah, I'm starting to fear that we're going to look back at this last off-season and cringe. Trading Bolduc for Mailloux and losing Ellis.

Edit: Not sure what’s going on with the quote feature so I just edited it away.

I hated trading Bolduc and it still looks oof. That said, Mailloux is 22, has missed a fair amount of development time, and has a lot of tools. Just because Broberg was more than ready last year doesn’t mean that Mailloux is a bust. It’s not looking good early, but it’s super early. I also think he would benefit playing with a veteran. As much as I want Tucker to get time, I’d kinda love for us to have another LD to share time… lol, someone like Leddy (hide) or Suter.

But yes, something just seems off. We’ll see how they adjust.

The Blues were leading the Red Wings 4-0 and just gave up 5 unanswered goals.

Coming off a game where they were down 4-0 and got back to being down 5-4 before Utah pulled away.

And Miz loses to Vandy.

Ugh, crappy Stl sports day.

They looked *better* last night. But still having some tough luck bounces.

Dvorsky looked good though!
