I think the break really helped, and the team seems to be taking Montgomery to heart now.

We'll see: last year, the team was poised to make the playoffs and then collapsed. This year, they're chasing a playoff spot, and they only now put together a winning streak of three games.

I'm skeptical about them making the playoffs, but it is truly nice to see they playing well, especially against very good teams.

Geez, beating LAK 4-1 late in the 3rd.

I wonder if DA stands pat at the deadline. (Barring a massive overpay for someone)

Unless they completely fall apart again, I think they stand pat now.

But like you said, if they get a crazy package for someone, all bets are off.

If they can win vs. Dallas today, it would put the Blues in the 2nd wild card spot

IF Calgary loses, and even then we would be 1 point ahead of Van, but them with 2 games in hand. Still though, 3 weeks ago I wouldn’t have even expected that so we’ll see.

If they manage 3+ points out of the next two, I’ll bet even Minten and a 1st won’t land Schenn even sans retention. I could see us standing totally pat, giving the kids a good playoff run for experience. (Then adding Snuggy after the Frozen Four - Just like making a trade!)

Also saw a Strickland tweet that Suter wants to win but also said he wants to stay in STL to make the playoffs and wants to play next year. (Preferably here-wants to move his family here if he’s extended) I’d sure as heck take him back. He’s been really solid.

I wonder if we end up running the same team out there next year, if this year finishes well.

Cart, horse. Stl vs Dal happening now.

I wasn't able to watch. I'll have to watch the highlights on YouTube later!

Too bad highlights only show slightly more than scoring.......won't show some of the great plays, heart pumping moments & many loose puck scrambles in front of nets. But they might show some of Binnington, he was incredible.

This game was basically non-stop action, especially the 3rd & OT

Yeah, I didn't get a very good sense for the full amount of suspense and action. Sad.

I hate west coast games.
