Looks a little bit like a Nissan 300 or 350, just in the body shaping.

I guess a Honda that looks like a Nissan makes sense if those two are going to merge—which I read may happen.
I’m looking forward to the Maximaccord. And the Passport/Cube crossover: Passpube.
They should kick it off with a rework of the Datsun 510. Maybe sell it with a motorbike to get the Honda in. I always loved that thing. Make it electric or whatever to get the modern buzz.

I've read that too. Really curious where it goes because I for the life of me can't figure out why the hell Honda needs Nissan. Would love a 510 remake though. A small barebones hybrid version would be something I'd pick up as a daily.BottenFieldofDreams wrote: ↑December 19 24, 6:05 pmI guess a Honda that looks like a Nissan makes sense if those two are going to merge—which I read may happen.

I really agree with this. Unless maybe in other countries Nissan has a stronger reputation?
The only thing they stand to gain I’d think is the trucks and gnarlier SUVs. But from my perspective Honda should just hire away the best engineers or whatever. I think a new line of Honda trucks would spark more interest than this Honda Nissan thing.
I’d guess Nissan has been lost in the Kia and Hyundai of it all. But then I wonder if Honda has slid a bit itself since I was really paying attention. Somehow I used to know what all the cars were, even the new ones coming out. Now I don’t even get curious about cars I don’t recognize on the road.
It also seemed like Nissan was pretty well positioned early with the Leaf to be an E player. But that doesn’t seem to have happened.

Bought a Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid last month and love it. I'll take a picture of it someday and post it. Drives better than I ever imagined.

Re: Let's Talk about sweet cars
I want to sell my jeep and get a new vehicle in the next few months.
Here are my priorities:
-durable interior (dog gets to come with me on a lot of adventures and he likes to get dirty)
-cruising comfort (good mix of highway and surface driving)
-under $45-50k
-some off road capability (doesn’t have to be a beast, but occasionally find myself on dirt tracks and sand when camping)
Any recs?

Do you need brand new? Maybe something in the full size bronco line would fit the bill?thrill wrote: ↑March 25 25, 7:38 amI want to sell my jeep and get a new vehicle in the next few months.

The Bronco would be a great choice, just try and avoid the ten speed transmission if you plan to keep it past warranty.
