I haven't listened to sports talk radio in about 8 years. I used to really like Bernie but then he became so cynical having straw man arguments with himself. Does he still do that?

I'll check that channel out though.

other people probably know better than i. i usually listen to his and will leitch's weekly podcast, Seein' Red (which is were I heard about his "youtube show"), and earlier in the season, when 590 the fan was still a thing, i'd listen to certain baseball related segments but i lost interest in that as the team kept being average, so, by late may or june. it seems his YT videos are only like, 15 mins, so he's keeping it brief for the moment.

hard to say on cynical and straw man arguments, for me at least, 'cause i'm intermittent with him. he likes his data points, that's for sure. one thing that would annoy me listening to his radio show, well, 1, breathing/licking his lips...i assume he thought the mic wasn't picking it up, it did. 2, though, was engaging too much in twitter discourse...he'd be speaking about the game the night before and talking about the twitter discourse over the game and all i'm thinking is "bernie, im not on twitter and could give 2 flying F's about what people are saying to you, or what you see is being discussed, about the game". and then that would be his main argument, about how dumb twitter is...which, duh. i don't know how to explain it but i found it annoying/uninteresting. the main reason i will listen to him is he is seemingly the only local person to offer any sort of actual criticism of the org/team. maybe he goes too far in cynicism but sometimes the team needs to get shat on and he's willing to do that, at least imo, than others in the local market.

That seems like a good take on Bernie and from what I know very accurate. Thanks for the awesome response. I'll check it out. The Twitter thing is similar to what I was talking about. For someone who doesn't care what those people think, he sure talks about them a lot.
