(That database certainly doesn't include every family who contacts DOPS -- a family is only documented in the database if the case is compelling enough for Jim Tucker to begin the process of interviewing the family/investigating their account.)

So it's not just that kids describe vague memories. In many cases they are specific enough to match the details to specific deceased people.
