Re: Vacation 2023
Have three weeklong vacations in the next three months. San Fran in November, New York in mid-December and Cancun tomorrow morning. This week in a lot of lying around in water, San Francisco is everything (record stores, three separate family groups, live music, huge amounts of great food etc) and New York is Broadway show, Stacey Kent (my favorite) live at Birdland, and more food & drink.

For your listening pleasure I would suggest The San Francisco List popularized by Radbird's off-season tournament.

We’ve thought about that if we get a rain day. We were on a beach super close to Clemente’s hometown today. Saw at least a dozen people wearing Pirates hats and a few kids wearing his shirsey. There was a vendor selling a beach towel with his 68 Topps card printed on that I’m gonna get for my dad, who is a huge mid late 60’s to early 70’s baseball guy.CardsofSTL wrote: ↑February 25 24, 8:33 pmYou're only forty minutes from Yadi's hometownInvincibleCakeEater wrote: ↑February 25 24, 8:29 pmCurrently in Loiza, Puerto Rico.

Super cool that Clemente has been gone over 50 years and is still the [expletive] man to them.

Re: Vacation 2023
Just got back from a really nice trip to Quebec.
Flew into Montreal and hopped the train to Quebec City. Stayed there for 3 full days. Then train back to Montreal for another couple of days.
Both cities were fabulous.
Montreal was bigger than St. Louis, and very metropolitan (like a mini version of NYC). It felt like Seattle in some ways.
Quebec City had a more quaint vibe. Smaller than Montreal, but in a good way (I think). The history is rich in both cities. I think I enjoyed QC a little more, but the food in Montreal was on par with what you would expect in NYC or SF. Phenomenal.

Re: Vacation 2023
We are actually leaving for a 20 day trip in a couple weeks. I've never been gone for more than 10 days before so we will see how I do. We are headed out east, spending some time with friends, then hoping on a cruise to New England and Canada. This will be my second cruise and while I really enjoyed our Alaskan cruise by the last couple days I was ready to be off the boat and that was only a 10 day. Anyway, I'm going with the most amazing women in the world so it will be great.
