She graduated from Sumner High School in 1958, when my grandfather, father, and an uncle worked there. It was a special high school, with the likes of Chuck Berry, Arthur Ashe, Robert Guillaume, Grace Bumbry, Robert McFerrin (Bobby McFerrin's father, and the first African American to sing in a Metropolitan Opera production) and many others graduating from there.

It's only Love is one of my favorite songs. Like top 25 for sure. Tina was also my first black lady crush when I was young. lol She was an amazing talent.
