AI Videos

Post by heyzeus »

Apparently the new thing is AI-generated videos. It's an interesting technology and no doubt is going to change things radically from now on.

But also? The videos are hilarious.

This is wonderful. But I really want to hear it with AI’d SMASHMOUTH. Quickly as we’re in a brief moment where AI’d SMASHMOUTH will be weird and bad and, though better, not musically superior to actual SMASHMOUTH.

Honestly, "Knock knock, who's there? Pizza magic!" is a killer line.

True story. I purchased a compact disc in January. A compact disc with SMASHMOUTH’s All Star on it. The Mystery Men (which I’ve never seen) soundtrack. There’s a song on there I can’t find anywhere else. Bad news is I can hear All Star everywhere else. I’m not sure how it’s still funny. Turn the page, internet, there needs to be a new Nickelback and a new All Star.

Smashmouth was my first CD ever. "Walkin on the sun" is a real banger.

It’s a version of Michael Franti’s Sometimes that heavily samples Satie. Pretty cool song we used to play in college. It was fun to hear it again. Give me your address and Ill go buy a computer with a disc drive and some CDRs if I can find them and I’ll burn you a copy. Very weird to have a piece of media that is not online.

Thanks to you posting this oddball soundstrack, I discovered a long-forgotten and otherwise unreleased Violent Femmes track, "No More Heroes." It's actually on youtube, so thaanks for that!
