In 80 years, Walker will be a legendary HOFer and signing paperwork to have his head cryonically frozen upon death. So it is written.

And with the ongoing sh!tshow in the dugout and FO, I'll wager he has a better chance going in to the Hall with a Red Sox hat rather than his current one!

Anyone worried about his play in the field? I know he’s 20, but I hope it gets better.

He can play 1st when we deal Goldy at the deadline.

He harks back to Chris Duncan doesn't he? But it's all new for him. He's 20 and an elite athlete. I bet we see improvement before too long.

That should be Gorman if 1B ever becomes open.

Not even a little bit. He’s played like 50 games in the OF in his life. He’ll adjust.

I am worried. Maybe he gets better simply based on experience, but I don't think we can count on it.

If I was Oli, I'd be working on getting the ball into the infield. He always takes more steps than a true outfielder to get the ball in. Wasted time that is going to make a difference.

It’s the reading of balls in the corner on doubles for me. Runners on first are going to score. I cringe when I see a ball hit anywhere where Walker disappears from camera frame. His big body takes a long time to scoop the ball. It’s like Oneil Cruz at SS. He needs the strong arm to make up for huge body scooping slowly.

I would put him in left when Nootbaar is back. DH him more too.
