Man, this is a big TV time.

David Simon's return to Baltimore, "We Own This City," just debuted its first episode. Better Call Saul is well into its final 2-part season. And the final half season of Ozark drops tomorrow.....

BCS Season 6 is a two-part season? Damnit. I hate that. Let's wrap it up now!

I haven't watched BCS for a couple seasons, but I wonder if they're doing de-aging of some kind. The difference in Cranston's look was already noticeable at the end of BB when they made flashback scenes. Not a big deal, but it took me out of it for a minute.

They have a whole special feature on Bob's makeup and hair to make him look like 2003-2007 era. They bring his hairline in and patch up aging wrinkles. They put a lot of time into it. They do a lot of makeup on Mike apparently too to keep him looking similar to what he might look like then. Being bald helps him. Gus too.

Mark Margolis goes through the biggest transformation it seems.

If we're getting Cranston and Paul back, then it must be something that overlaps with BB era. Or like, they're on a chemistry class field trip out of focus in the background of a Saul scam. Can't see how they fit in.

Episodes feel really quick for being an hour long too. Every time I'm shocked it's over. The one worry I have is how it ends, and I'm almost worried they've explained too much because I'm not sure how you maintain that and not end up with a big mess. It's not quite like David Lynch or something, where he clearly doesn't care how much sense it makes.

I've heard the season finale is good though.
