I have no idea how they'll make it work under the cap, but it seems like Giroux to the Blues might actually happen. Chances are it is just posturing to get more out of the Avs, but he would make the forward lineup really damn formidable.

I'd almost rather shore up the D though. I know he's old as hell, but Chara would be a nice add. He makes virtually nothing, is still logging quality second pairing minutes, and his size and presence would really help solidify the D corps for the playoffs.
