I had a post about Delta 8 somewhere in this thread, including the lab analysis from the company I was buying it from that showed the exact percentage of everything in it, etc. That was after Thrill wondered if it wasn't all a big scam where people were just lacing it with LSD or something - which...really? Do you have any idea how hard/expensive acid is to come by anymore? At any rate...

I've never smoked Delta 8, but as far as edibles, I like it at least as much as traditional Delta 9 THC. Not too expensive where I buy it (online), either, at something like $4-$5 per chocolate (which I prefer, as it dissolved so easily and can largely be absorbed in the mouth). Or they have big chocolate bars for...$19? $29? Can't remember exactly. But like 8 sections. Tons of other edibles, as well as plant material and vapes as well, but like I said, never tried those. Nothing can beat a bowl or J of Sour Diesel as far as I'm concerned.

LOL no. I just think that if it's as legit as people say, it will be regulated, and if it's not, people are getting taken by BS. My whole thing is that people should stick to the good old fashioned real thing, which it sounds like we are pretty aligned on. Nothing beats organic whole flower.

And as someone who has been looking to do some introspective spiritual tripping for some time now, I do know how it is not easy to get LSD. I think I've got a good mushroom guy tho.

I mean, the only reason it exists is due to a regulatory loophole. Does anyone with access to the real thing have any interest?

Same thing with K2 saga. It’d be way safer and better to just allow people to smoke normal weed with some regulation on quality.

I can text a service on Signal and within an hour a hipster on a bike is at my house with a case full of weed, edibles, LSD, and mushrooms. So, pretty easy to come by.

But I don't even use that service anymore because cannabis is legal in Illinois and I've come to prefer brick and mortar. The service keeps sending out updates about price cuts. I'm guessing they are feeling the competition.

I looked it up, and there actually was a bill in the just-concluded Texas legislative session to criminalize Delta 8. The bill even made it out of committee but died in calendars (literally just never got set for a vote). Probably some corrupt senator from Oatmeal or wherever got a sizable contribution from whatever shell corporation owns the Delta 8 manufacturing interests, and he put his thumb on that bill.

But whatever. It's legal in Texas for another two years. I'll give the edible a try at some point probably.

Soooo….just out of sheer curiosity…once you join or download or whatever this “Signal”….are you able to search for such services, or do you have to have that knowledge/connection already? I dabbled with the online TOR stuff for a while (and even pre-TOR) but its been a long time.

pretty sure signal is a secure messaging app. see it on a lot of journalists twitter bios. that'd be awesome to be able to get psychedelics that way. i got to trip about 4-5 times this spring and it was a lot of fun. ready to do again.

i definitely don't have interest in any of these alternative weeds, i'll stick with the deli flower. i bought a vape pen a couple weeks back and it is certainly pretty slick. i've bought the disposable pens before but figured might as well just buy a reusable one, etc. deli flower will always be number one but the pen is convenient. i think i may be done with dabbing. it was one of my methods for most of the summer but at this point i'm just kinda like "meh". it honestly doesn't get me any higher, at least not noticeably and it's a little more effort to use...just as far as heating up the nail...plus cleaning the bong out and stuff, just doesn't seem worth it to me. since i bought all the equipment for it i imagine i'll keep some on hand always but it's not going ot be a regular thing anymore for me , i dont think. a little disappointing. its kind of how i had to come to realization that edibles are mostly "useless" for me. oh well, thats the nice thing about living in a place where it's legal. really learn what works and what doesnt.

No, Signal is just an encrypted messaging app these particular dealers use to communicate. I'm pretty sure they just bring the goods in from Colorado. Since cannabis has been legal in Illinois I've only used them maybe once or twice. In the early months there were long lines here and product was in pretty short supply. Now that things are stabilized the price of legal cannabis is going down to the point that I'd rather go legal. I've never actually bought any mushrooms or lsd off them, but I know they do sell both and a few friends have bought the mushrooms at least.

Had a tooth extracted a week ago. Went back to edibles/sublingual drops to avoid dry socket. Still does nothing for me. Takes too long. Why would I want to guess how high I'm going to be and when it's going to kick in? Ok I'm going to a movie at 7 so I want to eat the gummy at 6... FOH.

Yeah, I’ve definitely been sticking with the dispensaries for weed. Can’t say the prices have gone down around here though - still $55-70 for an eighth and not much of a break if you go with higher quantities. The number of products has increased exponentially though, which is super cool. I remember when they first opened for recreational, they literally had like two strains of flower. Just checked, and the number is now 116.
