Re: Coronavirus
So here’s the typical steps the FDA follows for a drugs approval.
https://www.fda.gov/drugs/information-c ... -continued
And here’s the current clinical trial for the COVID vaccines which are due to end May 2, 2023.
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT ... w=2&rank=1
If there are set guidelines on how drugs are approved they should be followed….and those guidelines are there for a good reason (you would hope)….but I’ll contend that even THAT process isn’t great as we know drugs get pulled because they end up being harmful….but at least that process waits until the damn trials are over.

Big hearing on Monday btw, y'all. Gonna try to enjoin the Governor of Texas from enforcing his "nobody can require masks" mandate.

Re: Coronavirus
Several studies released simultaneously (probably due to collusion by the medical health system and/or doctors paid off by big pharma). Data results match what we've seen out of Israel. mRNA vaccination immunity against infection is waning, the vaccines are less effective against the delta variant when time since vaccination has been factored out, but prevention against hospitalization remains around 93%. Delta variant doesn't appear to be more deadly statistically than the earlier strains on a per person basis.

But it doesn't affect kids, right?
How can people see images like this and not want to do everything in their power to protect those that CAN'T get vaccinated yet!?!
I can't with our f***ing society anymore.

Just [expletive] stop….it’s not just the GD unvaccinated. On the rare instance I do go out NO ONE is [expletive] wearing masks. I would say we’re down to about 5-10%.
This isn’t a vaccinated vs unvaccinated debate (as much as the media wants the unvaccinated to be the enemy). It’s masked vs. unmasked. While the vaccinated are a little less likely to catch it, and have a shorter transmission period they can transmit it just like everyone else.
So all the vaccinated can get off their [expletive] high horse, see that the vaccine isn’t all it’s cracked up to be (for other than protection for YOURSELF and possibly keeping you out of the hospital) we’re all going to be better off as a society and be able to tackle this virus.

Oh, and here I thought the vaccine was 99.9% effective at keeping you out of the hospital.GeddyWrox wrote: ↑August 21 21, 9:10 amArthur Dent wrote: ↑August 19 21, 8:28 pmIs Twitter’s Angry_Staffer a legitimate source for this information? Seems unlikely.

Re: Coronavirus
You're pulling numbers out of your ass.
Also, the point of this is that in a triage situation which we are basically in now in a lot of counties, the vaxxed patients have a better chance of a positive outcome, therefore they may be getting chosen for beds/treatment over the unvaxxed.
I'm no longer attempting to change your mind. You made your choice. And yes, we are judging you.

No, that’s actually a number CNN was touting for quite sometime.GeddyWrox wrote: ↑August 21 21, 10:18 amYou're pulling numbers out of your ass.

Edit: Okay, my bad….it was actually 99.9% chance of a breakthrough case resulting in death. Of course, whether or not that’s a true representation of the numbers….I have my doubts.
Now granted I could be mistaken, but I was actually watching when they presented that number and qualified it as hospitalization/death.
And from the article:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.co ... index.html
Do you see anything wrong w/ those #’s??? Unless I’m understanding them wrong (which I don’t think I am) this kind of stuff is exactly why I (and many others) don’t trust a GD thing that comes out of the MSM on COVID (and much else for that matter). The CDC reported 6,587 Covid-19 breakthrough cases as of July 26, including 6,239 hospitalizations and 1,263 deaths.
As much as I despise Trump and all he stood for he got one thing right….our MSM is flat out “fake news”, as much as I hate the [expletive] term.

Re: Coronavirus
What’s wrong with those numbers?
163,000,000 x .00001 = 1630
1263 < 1630
163,000,000 x .00001 = 1630
1263 < 1630
