What if, and hear me out because I'm part of the problem -- but what if instead of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on lawyers to litigate mask mandates, my government was instead using that money to fund testing and contact tracing programs, and delivering high-quality masks that actually work to schools and community centers for people who can't find or afford them?
This is [expletive] dumb. Why did you post this?
No, you're right. More lawsuits are definitely the answer.

Big hearing on Monday btw, y'all. Gonna try to enjoin the Governor of Texas from enforcing his "nobody can require masks" mandate.

I don’t think he’ll…enjoin…that very much

Actually, another red flag raised.

When full FDA approval wasn’t supposed to happen until 2023, so they could ya know, get some mid-range data to ensure the vaccine isn’t causing issues a couple years down the road is expedited to Labor Day 2021….and then even sooner than that leads me to believe corners have been cut to obtain approval.

FDA approval was to ensure certain things, not just some rubber stamp they slap down so boosters could be rolled out.

Interesting.

I've used the Abbott BinaxNOW test myself and it's pretty good. Wonder if they'll ramp up production again.

What would the point be in waiting until 2023 to approve a vaccine that’s already infected at least a third of the population?

Boy, isn’t that a Freudian slip.

But the entire reason they decided they want bypass the approval process timeline for 2023 is because per the EUA guidelines only 2 doses of the vaccine were authorized.

So to get the boosters approved and I’m sure to allow widespread mandating of the vaccine they’ve decided “Eh, we don’t need to vet this thing properly”….as if this whole process hasn’t been hazardously expedited already.

?

Edit: oh, I see. The vaccine not the disease is the true infection. That’s a good one there.

Also, what is the source of this “approval would only be ok in 2023” idea? In addition to being a transparently nonsensical idea, best I can tell the source is just social media bs where people deliberately confuse a plan to continue study after approval with a made up requirement that approval can only happen after industry plans to end its ongoing formal study.
