Kyrou signs, 2 years, $2.8m/per
I think this ensures everyone fits under the cap. Blues can deal tank from a stronger position, on their own time.

Sanford signs for one year, $2m… was hoping a little less. Worries about getting Thomas’ contract to fit.

Sunny will prob start on the IR to free up some funds
But yeah, unless tank is traded it’s gonna be tight and need to trade someone

Yeah, it seems the only way to re-sign Bozak is to trade Tank to clear create any more cap space

Tartar to nj for 2 years, $4.5m per. Looks like Hoffman set the supplement 2nd line winger market. That’s a good deal for a guy who has scored at a 20+ goal pace 7 out of the last 8 years. Had we missed out on saad, I’d have been fine with that deal. I prefer saad being younger and having more size than tartar.

I always thought of tarter as a fallback/cheaper option (which I guess it is in terms of years)
that does possibly take a team off the table for Tarasenko though (3 teams I kept hearing was NJ, NYR and NYI)

Agreed on all accounts… oh and tartar, saad AND Hoffman are all making more than Perron. Was that ever a hell of a signing. (I will forever remember how wrong I was about that signing)cardsfantx wrote: ↑August 5 21, 1:15 pmcan't believe we got saad for the same AAVJCShutout wrote: ↑August 5 21, 1:07 pmTartar to nj for 2 years, $4.5m per. Dunn gets 2 years, $4m per from Seattle. That was never going to happen here.

I can’t see a Tank move at this point unless some team loses a scorer to long-term injury. I think they get Thomas for maybe just over the cap and start the season with one less bench player.
Too bad as snagging a couple old guys (Bozak, Chara) might have been nice one year depth additions.
The good news is, if you keep Tank and put him on a line with Buch and Schenn, you can call that line the Russchenns. /wah wah
