statistically, sure, you can't say that vaccines are %100 perfect for every single person (what medical treatment is?). it's pretty close though.
i'll respect your choice cardinalkarp even if i think you are wrong. that said, at this point in time, i think it's fair to say those that are unvaxxed are holding back the country from distancing itself from this virus.
i mean, i guess in X amount of time if it comes out that this was some sort of evil plot you can celebrate but i do think thats unlikely.
And I won’t be celebrating anything, and do I think it’s some “evil” plot….no. But what I do think is that the negative vaccine responses are being underplayed, and the way the government is basically attempting to censor people who have any criticism of the vaccine is downright scary.
We should all be concerned with way the government is pitting the vaccinated vs. unvaccinated. Biden saying the “unvaccinated” are killing people is dangerous, because again he’s dividing this country even worse than it already was.

When did getting a vaccine become a rule? We do live in a free country yes?Joe Shlabotnik wrote: ↑July 23 21, 2:45 pmI feel your pain Haltz. Re: Coronavirus
But let’s think about this rationally for a minute.
Let’s just go off the post that was made about the efficacy of the vaccines on the alpha/delta variants (and I provided a link on why that information might be brought into question, but we’ll use it anyway)
Phizer - 94% alpha/88% delta
AZ - 75% alpha/67% delta
J&J wasn’t listed but that was even lower against alpha, so let’s just guess it again follows suit w/ lower efficacy against delta.
Moderna I don’t have the info.
But even looking at that data, why would one think we should have gotten rid of masks when there’s always been a decent chance that someone you run into in public when everyone is maskless has COVID.
Then knowing that the vaccine may/may not prevent you from contracting it or passing it along…why ditch the masks? And then to be up in arms when they ask you we need to go back to that precautionary measure?
How many times does it take for our government to give out [expletive] information before you have to just scratch your head and question the directives they say are “safe”.

I can send you a link of the Governor of Alabama (R) saying that.

he did say this, which is a complete lie...
“If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in the IC unit, and you’re not going to die,” Biden said at the forum at Mount St. Joseph University.

In the second paragraph Biden says:
“They’re killing people,” Biden said. “I mean it, really. Look, the only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated and they’re killing people.”

Same article...President Biden leveled an extraordinary charge against Facebook and other social media platforms on Friday, claiming they are "killing people" by allowing coronavirus misinformation to spread. The accusation comes as health officials are voicing concern over rising cases of the virus and stalling vaccination rates.
"They're killing people. I mean it, really. Look, the only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated and they're killing people," Mr. Biden told reporters, echoing comments made by CDC Director Rochelle Walensky earlier on Friday. During a briefing by the White House coronavirus response team, Walensky reported 36% increase in hospitalizations and 26% increase in deaths due to COVID-19 in the past week.

Re: Coronavirus
Austin is trying to reimpose its universal mask mandate, and I’ve decided to become an anti-masker now. There’s been around 6,000 total hospitalizations or deaths of vaccinated individuals nationwide so far, which does not at all seem like a level of concern justifying mandating mass shutdowns. Those shutdowns made sense when they served to buy time to get to a better solution (improved treatment methods and vaccination), but what are they supposed to do now? Nobody has even suggested that this is part of an actual solution, so what are we doing here?
