Wow, the Whitesnake lady? I don't remember any of that. I always thought he seemed like a cross-dresser.

He was pretty damn good. Retired while it looked like he had another couple years in the tank.

Somehow missed this one

I don't want to be that guy, but if he had been running hard out of the box .......

Police arrested Kitaen after noticing abrasions and scrapes on Finley.

The pitcher was driving Monday night when the couple began arguing, and Kitaen kicked him with her high-heeled shoes, Richards said.

"She kicked him in the thigh, in the leg, in the arm, she grabbed his ear and twisted it," Richards said. "At one point, her high-heel shoe was on top of his foot pressing the accelerator to the ground."

And there they go going down the only road they've ever known.

Padres recalled RHP Nabil Crismatt from their alternate training site.

Crismatt is up after the Padres sent both Dinelson Lamet and Keone Kela to the injured list. The right-hander will be an option out of the bullpen while both arms recover, and he's going to be up-and-down all season. Get those frequent flyer miles.

Now seems like a good time to drop the big reveal: Kelly is fifth among position players in WAR so far this year. You’ll have to lower the qualification limits to see him, since he has only 54 plate appearances so far, but given that WAR is a counting stat, that’s even more impressive. He’s hitting .351/.537/.730, good for a 226 wRC+, and while that’s an unsustainable pace, he’s almost matched last year’s home run total in less than half the opportunities, and he’s doubled last year’s unintentional walk total!

Carson Kelly is the 5th best player in baseball currently.

Wonder he moves into top 5 catcher range by year's end. He's pretty good behind the plate too.

FANTASY BASEBALL NERD ALERT

I picked up Carson Kelly early in the season and he's been a godsend. But you know what catcher is second in offensive fantasy points (roto league) right behind him? Old Man Yadi.
