Justified rules. It's in my all-time club somewhere as well.

What's ya'll's thoughts on Justified?

I've burned thru alot of options and it's down to Justified and Sons of Anarchy. I can't, for whatever reason, get into Sons of Anarchy. I dunno--kinda feels like it doesn't hold up well. Like i could see enjoying it at the time, but it comes off as kinda cheesey.

I think it may be that i simply cannot get past peggy bundy playing a serious "bad-ass" role".
Justified is good at first and gets better, but goes up and down a bit. Dialogue is good even when the plot isn’t.

One of few shows where I occasionally go back and watch episodes for fun.

SOA is fun for a season or two but the ridiculousness really wore out it’s welcome for me.

Boyd Crowder and Raylen Givens have some great conversations. Justified is really good if you can get past the kind of weird setting.

I got a year subscription free with a new phone. Gonna check the originals out. Ted Lasso up first.
What did you think? I absolutely loved it.

Also, holy [expletive] WandaVision! Amazing.

Ted Lasso is the best sitcom in years. Highest recommendation. In addition to being funny it is ridiculously heartwarming.

Warrior on HBO/Cinemax was a show I heard a lot of good things about but never got around to watching. I have now watched both seasons (in four days).

Folks, it's incredibly good.
I'm up to episode 3. So far I'm getting Peaky Blinders and Banshee vibes, and hoping it keeps leaning more toward the latter. At least in terms of plotting. I'm trying to pinpoint what the difference is between those two, and having trouble. I just know Peaky Blinders started to bore me and Banshee didn't.

So I got Apple TV for Christmas and have watched a couple of their originals.

We’ve tackled Servant and Truth Be Told (w/ Aaron Paul). Both we’re really well done.

As far as Apple TV goes, I’m really enjoying the shows and interface so far.
I really liked Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet. It's like Always Sunny, but with some conscience instead of none. As a big Community fan, it was fun to see Abed get to play a sociopath. And their COVID episode was the best of any I saw. ...probably will land even better for gamers, though I don't think much went over my head.

AS others have said, Ted Lasso is a must-see. The best show based on a commercial since that Geico Caveman sitcom.

As much as I love Bob's Burgers, which is an awful lot, and the rave reviews, Central Park didn't do much for me. Oh, it wasn't very good, but I still enjoyed The Morning Show. I thought the finale paid off.

My free year might be over now. I need to check. But work has picked up so I'm not getting paid to watch AppleTV on the phone they gave me anymore anyhow.

OK - got to the desert Saloon episode, and this is good.

Justified is a lot of fun. I couldn't make it past 2 episodes of SoA. My wife liked SoA for whatever reason.
