i'm going through this netflix show "history of swear words"...it's ok. hosted by nic cage, its sorta a "documentary" in the sense that they do have some...what would you call...etymologist... who offer some historical perspective of false origins and probable origins of the words (1 word per episode)...but it also has some comedians talking about, i guess, mostly modern usage. its very slick...its like netflix's version of those old VH1 like, "the 90's" lil mini docu series. episodes are only like 20 mins so its kinda brainless i guess but ok to watch, say, when doing a workout and you want some background noise and you might learn a little bit about some of the classic swear words.

Warrior on HBO/Cinemax was a show I heard a lot of good things about but never got around to watching. I have now watched both seasons (in four days).

What's ya'll's thoughts on Justified?

I've burned thru alot of options and it's down to Justified and Sons of Anarchy. I can't, for whatever reason, get into Sons of Anarchy. I dunno--kinda feels like it doesn't hold up well. Like i could see enjoying it at the time, but it comes off as kinda cheesey.

I think it may be that i simply cannot get past peggy bundy playing a serious "bad-ass" role".

I really enjoyed "Justified". It is in my list of all-time favorite shows.
