I've had to dine out plenty (for work) and have dodged the virus. And when I said you're "good to go" I meant after the 2 week post-infection quar.

At that point your risk of transmission is practically zero. Go eat a damn steak when your taste buds come back to life.

For thrill, Jocephus and others on the board who like being anti-social, rejoice! You have company (in an ironic sort of way), as you'll see from some of the individual profiles in the article:
Why some people like wearing masks

Wearing a mask is, for most of us, an annoying but worthwhile sacrifice: it’s one of the most effective ways to slow the spread of Covid-19. Still, most of us look forward to the day when we can bare our faces in public again. Face-coverings fog our glasses and clog our pores; they make it harder to smile at strangers and recognise friends.

Yet some are secretly relishing the new mask-wearing mandates, for reasons ranging from the convenient and expedient to the more complex and psychological. Some welcome the way face coverings reduce or change interactions that might otherwise spark social anxiety. But is this a helpful coping mechanism – and what happens when the pandemic comes to an end?

I don't love having to always wear the mask, but I absolutely love how much quicker lines and transactions go these days. Nobody conducts social hour with cash register attendants anymore. I also definitely love how the combination of a mask, ear buds, and sunglasses essentially make you invisible. I bet celebrities are loving it.

Masks aren't so bad in the winter breeze.

a friend/acquaintance is a teacher and has Bell's palsy currently, - he is a fan of the masks for now.

I rather prefer it at grocery store or local walgreens - and though we live in a metro area it is a local crowd mostly - a couple times I think I saw people that bug the F out of me, so was able to avoid them easier with mask. a mask and a hat or cap are extra good.

I can attest to this having umpired some games in late November. It really helped take the edge off the chilly temps.
