Question. Let's say someone has been vaccinated but the rest of the people in their household haven't been. If someone in their household tests positive, should the vaccinated person still quarantine? Asking for a bunch of teachers about to be vaccinated

There are tons of weed heads who probably would believe this is scientifically true.

Going off memory, yes, they should still quarantine. Vaccines have only been shown to be effective at preventing symptomatic covid. But, importantly, they have not proven, or even studied to see if, they provide sterilizing immunity. As such, it's not proven vaccines prevent infection or transmission. That's a pretty nuanced answer, but I think also technically correct.

Thank you for posting this information, because I don’t think this is nearly widespread as it needs to be. This vaccine, from what I’ve read (which admittedly isn’t a ton) does NOT necessarily prevent one from getting COVID, it just reduces the symptoms to the point a person really isn’t effected.

For those unaware of what Jo was talking about, dabbing is to smoking flower or normally strength extracts what espresso is to a cup of coffee. It's heavy duty.

I've got the Rona (antigen test). Feels like I have a cold with a slight fever. Hopefully it stays that way. Gotta say I'm pretty pissed off because I have followed all the rules.
