FWIW, I posted on his FB wall, just to let his friends or family know: We have a community here, and their friend/relative Paul was a big part of it. We enjoyed our little silly Cardinals message board, which he was an active, vibrant part of. I hope they know that he's missed over here in this little quadrant of the internet.

I’m not sure how to see what you posted. Don’t use FB much at all. All I see are his posts, the last of which was from July 4, 2019.

I posted something similar on Twitter.

Man, this is not ok. Cronos was such an awesome dude. I didn't even consider the title of the thread was literal when I saw it and expected some sort of play on words. He was a integral part of what makes GRB good stuff and he'll be missed for sure.

I... I don’t even know what to say. Loved that dude. We hung out IRL more than a few times when he was in Stl, and I even went up to Chicago when he was living there and stayed with him for a day or two and we saw an MST3K theater show. Just a coupla nerds with psych degrees. Just a really, really good dude. Haven’t been in touch with him for a number of years (or with anyone outside of my wife, coworkers and peeps in my dojang), but ... [expletive] just [expletive].

I don’t even know what to say. Even the above seems like nothing.

I don't know what to say either. I didn't know him well but reading all the these is pretty moving and he was way too young.

There were times it was just me and Cronos hanging out in flashchat watching the games together. Cronos without a doubt made the early years of the board. If anyone was the glue both on and off that brought people together it was Cronos. He was always so personable, warm, open... he seemed to pierce straight through the auspice that can exist in online communications that make it feel like a cold distance. Anytime you spoke to him it's like your were speaking to a good friend sitting across from you. I haven't spoken to him in a long time but still this news is devastating.

RIP Paul, it goes without saying that we will always and forever miss your bus.
