And the pendulum swings back a little towards optimism, thanks to two NL Central GMs:
5:21pm: Two team executives, Reds president of baseball operations Dick Williams and Brewers president of baseball ops David Stearns, expressed optimism Wednesday that the owners and players will hammer something out. Williams told Jim Day of Fox Sports Ohio that “both sides want to play,” interestingly adding that he believes an agreement’s “very close” (via C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic). Stearns said, “I firmly believe we are going to have baseball this season” (per Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).

I wonder when SaintLouisSportsFan will think our season is really over.
Especially in terms of the playoffs.

I just want to be able to watch live baseball dang it. I've been watching some of the KBO but it just isn't the same. I do find it hilarious that the KBO does things like putting cutouts of fans in the stands behind home plate though. Last week on the broadcast of a Dinos game they showed a cutout of one of the announcers with a light blue headband thing with what I guess are supposed to be dinosaur ears (?) and it was absolutely hilarious. I especially liked them showing the split screen with his announcing partner leaning in to get a closer look on her screen and cracking up. It was a nice moment of levity in these crazy times.

games in Colorado, Minnesota, New York, Chicago, etc throughout November? Sounds awful (to be a player in those conditions)

Yes. Boras (everyone's favorite agent) talked about this a month or two ago. He pitched a plan to MLB whereby they would play in warm climates/domes and have the playoffs extend until Christmas.

It wasn't received well by MLB leadership.

wasnt the reasoning for that was because not much was known about the virus and they thought the threat of spread was much greater indoors?
