Pirates released OF Charlie Tilson.
Tilson was signed as a non-roster invite by the Pirates in January, and is part of several cuts handed out by the Pirates. He's hit .246/.310/.290 in three partial seasons in the majors, and he'll likely hook on with someone as organizational depth before the 2020 season ends, assuming it begins.

That’s a great song he’s referencing too.

Phillies released RHP Bud Norris.
Norris was signed to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training in January after he impressed during a workout at Rice University. The right-hander did not pitch at all in 2019 because of a forearm injury, and it seems likely the the 35-year-old won't throw a competitive pitch for anyone in 2020, as well.

Re: Former Cardinals Watch
Jon Jay, who was signed to a minor league deal in February, has won a spot on the Diamondbacks roster.
It's an odd sort of encore for Jay, considering that he was pretty awful in hitting .235/.304/.325 in 320 PA for Arizona in 2018. He was just as bad for the White Sox last year, batting .267/.311/.315 in 182 PA before going down with a hip injury. He's well-liked around the league and he could still contribute the occasional single, but with the way his defense has declined, he doesn't seem worthy of a roster spot at this point.

Re: Former Cardinals Watch
Big City returns to the Braves. This will be his 2nd stint with the Braves after having 2 stints with the Cardinals and Nats.
