That’s horrible. Wishing Big City well.

Saw this at Powell's today. Just seems like a bizarre player for the cover of a magazine.

Additionally, why use a photo in which his face is partly hidden by a glove?

Tommy Pham is trying his hardest to sound like a real a-hole.
All he's worried about during the Corona pandemic is whether he's getting paid or not. And then takes a swipe at the Cardinals on the way out the door.

Not a good look for Pham there while people in the service industry are not getting paid at all and likely to just flat out lose their jobs.

"I don't know if any of us will get paid," Pham added. "But you look around, I got friends in the NHL, they're getting paid. The guys in the NBA are getting paid. How's it going to look if we're the only major sport, and the richest sport bringing in the most revenue, and we're the only ones not getting paid?"
that's because the NHL and NBA are "in season" still...they only get checks "in season", so of course they're getting paid.

same thing for baseball...they won't get paid yet because their season hasn't started yet (even without coronavirus; the season wouldn't have started yet). they'll get their full salary. it's collectively bargained for.

this isn't your first season pham; you should know better...

1. He’s right. Players should be concerned about getting paid. Not all of them are Bryce Harper.

2. Swipe at Cardinals was deserved and points out the situation for players like him (late bloomers in their peak years) that need all the games they can to make the most money they can. This is a labor issue across the board, not a richguy baseball thing.
