27 more days, my Illinois peeps. The one licensed place in the metro area is going to be paaaaaacked (although I’m sure the place in Sauget will get in before the deadline too).

I was checking out the menu at my local dispensary. It will bring a tear to your eye. It's a thing of beauty.

http://www.coloweedery.com for me

at least, that's the nearest to me/too lazy to try other shops around. i probably should one of these days. it's been fun to go in and shop like an adult. only bad thing is having to use cash and make sure i have enough. and i will say, my usage has dropped quite a bit actually since moving to CO.

Wow, they have a ton of stuff. Weed in a can? Who'd a thunk it?

hah yeah, its kind of amazing. i really haven't tried much honestly. i usually will grab some gummies, hard candy and then 2-4 pre-rolled joints. my whole time enjoying marijuana a proper edible always seemed so cool to me but never had a good one. now that i have access to them, i'm a little disappointed but they still provide a decent sensation, which i've been enjoying after work/during the week. nothing compares to a toke though and i've been saving those for fri/sat/sun primarily. i gave my pipe to a friend before i moved out here thinking i just didn't want to bother traveling/moving with it so at some point i may grab a new spoon pipe and then buy an 1/8th like i always had before but i'm not in a rush. i honestly can't even finish these joints in one session, have to put 'em out and save for later, which is fine. i've noticed once thc levels are in ~20% those can really wallop me, where in the teens is probably better for me right now. which kind of surprises me since i've been enjoying marijuana for so long at this point. i think some of it is i'm still absorbing my new life out here and sometimes the higher content can throw me for a loop for a bit.

it is all still a bit surreal to me though, being able to do it legally. from always having to make the transaction "in secret" and all and now i'm not doing anything illegal and it's basically the same as going to the liquor store or whatever.

I bought a sack last week and thought to myself that this was, in theory at least, the last illegal bag of weed I'll ever buy.

How’s Colorado been treating you?

so i have a weird question.

Recently, i've become prone to motion sickness..whether it be by car or air. so naturally, when i'm slated for long roadtrips, it leads to a great deal of anxiety, which in turn just fuels my stomach issues even more. it's a vicious cycle.

im headed to colorado this week for a ski trip and am already dreading the trip between denver and breckenridge.

the trip there should be manageable but i'm worried about the trip back since i will most assuredly be hungover.

I'm wondering if i take an edible...will it help put my mind at ease? What's everyone's thoughts on that?

And how much of an edible should i take if our shuttle is leaving at 9 am and my flight out of denver isn't until 5 pm.

I know a guy who is a nervous flyer and he said he had some CBD edibles and it helped quite a bit.

not a bad idea actually. there's a dispensary down the street me that sells gummies, actually.

what's everyone's experience with CBD?
