Interesting that they are looking at the vets. I guess they want the kids to get full work in San Antonio. It looks like they have 12 forwards on the NHL roster, so this would presumably be tryouts for who practices with the team and sits in the pressbox, and maybe gets a spot start or two if someone is day-to-day or in a cold streak.

I mean, even moving Fabbri and losing Tank and Steen to injury, they have Blais, Sanford and MacEachern who have as good a chance as ever at the moment to show that they are part of the future. Those kids get everyday minutes while the vets, if they do well enough to get a contract (probably 2-way at the minimum), are just injury depth.

Klim Kostin has been called up by St. Louis.

Kostin has three goals and eight points in 14 games with San Antonio of the AHL in 2019-20. He could get a chance to make his NHL debut.

Taking my daughter to the game tonight. I hope they play a little better than the last few games. Glad to get points from those but coulda had 2 wins instead of OT L's.

Yes they are. Until over a long season goal diff ends up meaning something. Then some of the wins become OT losses.

Anyway, I’m not worried but it’s silly not to pay attention to it.
Whaaaat?

I’m not worried but playing every game into overtime is going to a) likely balance out and b) like wear a team out over the long run. More O-FENCE needed?

Going into Saturday night the Blues had been in OT in exactly half of their games. I will be at the game tomorrow so I'm sure that it will be back to half again. This will be my third game of the season and so far they've won 8 seconds into OT and lost in the shoot out last week. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

I was at the game Sat too. What a frustrating night. At times they dominated play and kept the puck in the O-zone, but other than Dunn's sneaky shot, they just couldn't put the biscuit in the basket. And they seemed to make A LOT of sloppy plays with the puck again, leading to too many high danger chances and a couple of goals.

In the second period I found myself saying, "It's pretty apparent now that this team really misses Tarasenko."

The wins they were piling up early in the season are going to be critical. I have the feeling this team is really going to struggle at times this season. They are going to need Perron, Schwartz, Schenn and O'Reilly to carry the team.

After last night the Blues are 2-1 with me at games so far this year and the loss was in the shoot out. Last year I don't think I saw a single loss except for an OT loss.

I have now come to the conclusion that if I'm at the games and don't have to pay for my ticket the Blues win. The two OT/shoot out losses came when I actually paid for my own ticket. Last night I guess I technically did pay for the tickets BUT I am going to expense it all so in the end, I'm not really paying anything.

So, if we want the Blues to win it all again... people just need to take me when they get free tickets or just pay for my ticket like the game where Perron won it 8 seconds into OT a couple of Friday's ago.

Thank you for volunteering to sell plasma for ticket money all season long.
