That was a fun one. I think there was some Suppan sprinkled in there as well.33anda3rd wrote:You’d have loved the great McClellan or Lynn war of two thousand whatever year that was on GRB.Big Amoco Sign wrote:He was always pretty good and was due for an above average season I felt.33anda3rd wrote:Kinda crazy how you can make a case for Lance Lynn as the best pitcher in the AL so far this year.

Re: Former Cardinals Watch
Rangers designated RHP Shelby Miller for assignment.
Well, that didn't work. Miller was signed by the Rangers a potential reclamation project, but he was awful with the Rangers; registering a 2.11 WHIP and 9.51 ERA over eight starts. He could elect free agency if he isn't claimed by another team -- he's owed right around $1 million for the remainder of the season after signing for $2 million, for what it's worth -- but he also has the option to report to Triple-A Nashville. The move clears a spot on the 25-man roster for Jesse Biddle, who was officially added on Monday.

Remember that time he gave up a single then recorded 27 straight outs? The reverse Alan Benes? That was some ripe fruit there: dig him out of the compost Mo. Immediately.
