Friday's game would have been ideal with it being Pujols' first game back in St. Louis since he left but Sunday is probably almost as nice since it will most likely be his final game in St. Louis. I doubt he's still playing the next time the Angels make it to town.
If they don't sit his lard-ass (no disrespect) on Sunday get-away day. You'd still see him pre-game and in the dugout I guess.
At the very least he will probably get a pinch hit. Heck; Sunday might be the only day he starts. Have fun tlombard.

That's kind of what I was thinking too. I would almost bet money that he'll at least pinch hit on Sunday. I just looked and he's actually started almost twice as many games at 1st as he has DH so far this season. I didn't expect that but then again, I guess I should have figured he would with Ohtani on the roster.
Either way, I'm looking forward to Sunday! I'll be four rows back in section 167 and didn't have to spend a penny on them!
When I went over to the other building to pick up the tickets yesterday evening it seems that there was some kind of confusion and I didn't get Sunday's tickets after all. I got Saturday. Oh well. It would have been cool to have the tickets for either Pujols' first or last game in St. Louis since he left but I'll take Saturday. At least I can have a bit more fun with a Saturday afternoon game than I could with a Sunday night game and having to work the next morning.
Looks like Wacha will get the start Friday against the Los Angeles Pujols, which is a perfect full circle moment, since we drafted Wacha with the Angels' pick that we got when he signed with them.
Also perfect, since who doesn't want to see Pujols mash some dingers?
Dang, Wainwright is getting the start tomorrow. I would have loved to see a Wainwright vs. Pujols matchup this weekend just for the pure nostalgia since they were both such huge parts of the Cardinal's team from 2006 to 2011 together.

This won't work. I saw Bonds face Looper in 2007, figuring either the Cardinals win or Bonds hits one through the pennant poles.
Instead I saw Aaron Miles commit three errors in an inning. FML.
