Bad plan in what sense? Filled with fans will/should increase safety. A logistical issue w Metro is that because of downtown tunnels/stations they cannot add extra cars, 2 is the max, so it can take forever to get your ride back. If you’re hanging around downtown for some post games festivities then it should be less of a problem. Last train is midnightish unless they are operating on a special schedule.

I figured getting downtown mid-afternoon shouldn't be bad? Getting back out to our hotel by North Hanley after the game(s) is my concern. I'm not concerned about safety.

Normally people stream out of the stadium immediately after the game (obviously) and head for the train. May be different Sat night with so much Stanley Cup related stuff going on downtown.

Not sure what to feel tonight. Can't wait. Luckily, I have a thousand things to do and will be cleaning and doing chores and projects while listening to the game. (my normal routine when I can catch a game) Hopefully staying busy will ease the stress. I thought about trying to cram into an area bar to watch it, but I'm exhausted and the projects are piling up after watching and attending games, and sometimes its nice to just stay home, especially since I'll be at game 4! (No eating for the rest of the Summer for me)
